Sunflower Yellow Origami Lampshade

PRODUCT DETAILS

A simple gesture can make a big impact. Crafted from heavyweight Canson Mi-Teintes paper, Portuguese label Blaanc's elegant Orikomi Lampshade possesses a quiet elegance that unfolds as a fascinating lighting object when paired with a simple standard fixture.

This collection is the result of a collaboration between orikomi and Barbara Osorio Fabrics, the Portuguese editor of fabrics for interiors with a unique and nature-inspired style. The essence of Barbara Osorio Fabrics travels from fabric to paper with exclusive patterns from “Wildflower Collection”. Inspired by the wild and untamed nature this collection features floral patterns in a contemporary colour pallet.

Despite its complex, origami-inspired construction, the Orikomi is easy to hang and serves far more than an aesthetic purpose: a portion of the proceeds from every piece goes to the Adobe for Women project, to help women in Mexico build their own homes with their own two hands. Made with high-quality 160gr paper, with high cotton content combined with mechanical resistance, complies with the ISO 9706 standard on permanence, a guarantee of durability and conservation. Lamp shade only.

PATTERN: Sunflower Yellow /// Print of a Barbara Osorio pattern.
CORD SET INCLUDED: Whisky textile cable with a copper ceiling cup // 1 meter long

Minimal assembly required, guide included. For usage with standard lightbulb sockets and energy-saving bulb. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Adobe for Women project.
